GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have signed wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield, the team announced Tuesday.
Sinkfield is a 6 foot, 200 pound rookie out of Northern Iowa. He signed with the Miami Dolphins as a non-drafted free agent on May 3 and was released on May 28.
Sinkfield started 10 games for the Panthers as a senior in 2012 and caught 43 passes for 499 yards and four touchdowns. Sinkfield had 76 receptions for 1,097 yards and 10 touchdowns during his collegiate career.
Sinkfield ran a 40 yard dash in an unofficial 4.19 seconds at the University of Minnesota's pro day in March.
He will wear No. 5 for the Packers.
