APPLETON - UPDATE:
Valbona Elmazi was sentenced to 30 months probation and six months in jail. After violating probation, she was sentenced to additional nine months. Besnik Elmazi was sentenced to probation.
Two people have been arrested for selling heroin at an Appleton restaurant which sent a man to the hospital.
On Wednesday at 10:50 p.m., Appleton police responded to the alley in the 400 block of West College Avenue because a man was having trouble breathing.
Officers provided medical aid to the man and he was transported to the hospital.
Appleton police say the man had purchased and ingested the drug at the pizza place.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Valbona Elmazi, 22, and her 17-year-old brother, Besnik. Both are from Hortonville.
Authorities say Valbona Elmazi works at a a nearby restaurant.
Both individuals were brought to the Outagamie County Jail. Police are recommending charges of delivery of heroin.
