GREEN BAY - A journey from Green Bay to the four corners of the lower 48 states has ended raising awareness and money for a local shelter.
The "Four Corners Freedom Riders" drove their motorcycles to the farthest points of Washington state, California, Florida and Maine.
Saturday the two motorcycle enthusiasts, Kevin Platkowski and Ben Buehler, ended their trip back where it started--in Green Bay.
The bikers hit the road to raise awareness and money for the Freedom House homeless shelter in Green Bay.
"It was a great sacrifice for them, although adventurous, and we really appreciate the fact they decided to combine their passion for riding with their hearts of compassion for our homeless families with children," said Robyn Davis, director of Freedom House.
Their goal was to finish the ride within 14 days. And they pulled it off in just 12 days.
