MADISON - A Wisconsin Badgers football game is always exciting for fans, but it was especially moving for a mother and daughter who were unexpectedly reunited after months apart.
Army Capt. J.R. Lund had been serving in Afghanistan since April and wasn't supposed to be home for another three weeks. On Saturday, Lund and her daughter Bella were honored during the football game in Madison.
Bella had no idea her mom was even in the country until she saw her on the field.
Both mother and daughter say it's a moment they'll never forget. They say the time apart made them stronger and more positive.
