Here with co-head coach Pat Wallace of Green Bay Southwest. Our game tonight, game of the week, Southwest hosting Ashwaubenon. Pat let’s talk about first of all the dynamic here, the coaching staff you and Tim Birr, co-head coaches. What’s that been like?
“Lot of work put in at the beginning. We really worked hard together, communicated well. We’ve known each other 13 years. He’s been like a brother to me, so on that note it’s been a positive experience.”
Through games this year you’ve scored 46.5 points per game, not allowing a lot. How would you, I don’t want to say grade yourself, but how would you describe the first two weeks?
“They’ve been successful. We have room to improve and the kids know that. Overall, we’ve been pleased with the performances so far.”
Talk about Ashwaubenon, this team is known to play a lot of defense and Ashwaubenon looks like they can play a lot of offense. How much are you looking forward to see that matchup and see what you can do against James Morgan?
“Luckily, it’s not a playoff game for either of us. Which ever team does not come out on top can still improve but they have talent, we feel we have some talent. We’ll just let the chips fall where they go on Friday night.”
